Condev Homes
celebrates Groundbreaking Bent Oak in Titusville
Titusville,
FL (March 31, 2007)- Condev Homes owner Chris Gardner invites home
shoppers to explore competing new home communities in Titusville.
Then visit the company's Bent Oak subdivision off Grissom Parkway
and enjoy the elbow room.
"You can really spread your arms in this community," Gardner
said. "The size of the home sites really will sell that community."
Home sites in
the newest phase of the community, which Condev is developing and
building, measure at least 75 feet wide and at least 130 feet deep.
Some are larger, and about half back up to conservation areas for
an even more expansive feel.
The new lots
are a similar width but deeper than the 54 home sites in the previous
phase. Those also were marketed as giving the homeowner more space
than surrounding communities, some of which feature 50-foot-wide
lots.
After attractive
design and reasonable pricing, space is what customers say they
want, Gardner said.
The builder
is offering one- and two-story options in the community. One relatively
new floor plan is a 2,400-square-foot ranch that's viewable as a
model at Bent Oak. Customers like the open floor plan, with a view
from the front all the way to the back lanai and the outdoor wildlife.
"That home
really sells itself," said Gardner, and the view to the natural
preserve helps illustrate the marketing slogan for the community:
"Our neighbors
are a bunch of animals."
"You can
sit in the back yard and watch sandhill cranes. If you're lucky,
you can spot a deer," Gardner said.
Condev focused
on including features that customers have requested, and offering
choices in other areas, said Sam Bass, vice president of sales and
marketing.
"We're
trying to give as many market-driven features as we can," Bass
said.
Customers who
shop exclusively by price might find Condev at Bent Oak to be a
little higher than some of its neighbors, partly because of the
larger lots.
"We think
we're worth it," Gardner said. "There's a lot of value
there."
