ROCKLEDGE - Home
buyers have a new reason to buy at Phillips Landing, one that will
become increasingly attractive as the weather gets warmer.
The Condev Homes
community has opened its swimming pool area, which features a beach
entry, a mushroom water feature and water rings.
"The kids
are having an absolute blast," said Peter Gardner, vice president
of the company.
Condev is launching
the third phase of the community, which includes home sites at the
rear of the development. Lakefront sites are available.
The third phase
includes four new floorplans, some featuring a three-car garage
for the first time.
The addition
has proved popular at the community, which is attracting first-time,
move-up and even some downsizing buyers.
"It's a
really family-friendly floorplan," Gardner said of the Charleston
layout featured in the model home, also the site of the sales center.
Three-car garages
give families room for children's toys and bicycles, or an extra
car for a teenager.
Homes with the
larger garage start at about $250,000.
Condev's Cottage
Series, also available in the neighborhood, offers a smaller and
more affordable option for young couples or retirees who want a
smaller home to maintain.
Gardner touts
the safety features of the neighborhood, which has only one entry.
Condev also
is installing security cameras at the pool area.
The builder
is emphasizing green features in its homes, promoting the cost savings
of energy efficiency.
"It saves
thousands over the years," Gardner said.
Condev offers
some customization on the floorplans.
"We really
try to work with the customer," Gardner said. "People
have various needs and we want to be able to meet them."
